Refund Policy

The short version
14-day money-back guarantee on every paid Ariv subscription. No questions asked. Email hello@ariv.one to request a refund.
1. Scope
This policy applies to paid subscriptions to Ariv (Sync, Sync + AI, and any future paid tier). The free desktop app is not subject to this policy because no purchase is involved.
2. 14-day money-back guarantee
If you are not satisfied with a paid Ariv subscription, you may request a full refund within 14 calendar days of your initial purchase. This applies to:
- First-time monthly subscriptions
- First-time annual subscriptions
- Tier upgrades (where the upgrade itself is the purchase being refunded)
Refunds are issued to the original payment method. Processing typically takes 5-10 business days depending on your bank.
3. Renewal charges
Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period (monthly or annual). Renewal charges are not eligible for refund under the 14-day guarantee, since the guarantee covers the initial purchase decision rather than every renewal.
You can cancel a subscription at any time before renewal from your account settings. After cancellation, you keep access through the end of your current billing period and are not charged again.
4. Annual subscriptions after the 14-day window
If you cancel an annual subscription after the 14-day window, you keep Pro access through the end of the prepaid year and are not refunded for the unused portion. We don't pro-rate annual refunds outside the guarantee window. The annual price reflects the discount for committing to a year - prorating would defeat that.
5. Exceptional circumstances
Outside the 14-day window, we still consider refund requests on a case-by-case basis where exceptional circumstances apply, including:
- Service was unavailable for an extended period due to issues on our end
- You were charged in error (duplicate charge, wrong tier billed, etc.)
- Material change to a feature you were paying for
We try to be reasonable. Email us with the details and we'll work it out.
6. How to request a refund
Email hello@ariv.one from the email address on your Ariv account. Include:
- Your account email
- Approximate purchase date
- Whether you'd like a refund only or also an account closure
We aim to respond within two business days. We don't require a reason for refund requests within the 14-day window, but feedback is always welcome - it helps us make Ariv better.
7. Payment processor
Subscription payments are processed by our Merchant of Record. Refunds are issued through them, back to your original payment method. You may also see refund-related correspondence from our payment processor in addition to us.
8. Chargebacks
If you have a billing concern, please contact us first. Chargebacks initiated through your bank without first contacting us can result in account suspension while the dispute is investigated. Almost every situation is resolved faster (and more cleanly) by emailing us directly.
9. Mobile app subscriptions
Subscriptions purchased through the Apple App Store or Google Play are governed by Apple's and Google's refund policies, not this one. Refund requests for those purchases must go through the respective app store.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this refund policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision. Material changes will be communicated to active subscribers by email.
